Manager Solutions Architecture

About your role:

As a manager of e-Bill professional services, you will play a crucial role in developing, mentoring, and leading a team of project managers and technical services associates focused on delivering industry-leading products to our clients. Your leadership will directly impact revenue generation, business direction, and the professional growth of your team members, aligning with Fiserv's mission to provide innovative financial services.

What you will do:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of technical shared services associates through projects efficiently, while upholding Fiserv quality standards
• Collaborate with solution developers, management, strategists, and other internal partners to ensure alignment of solution capabilities with business needs
• Lead architects, solution developers and project teams to ensure proper technology design and non-functional considerations are addressed at each phase of the system life cycle to maximize processing efficiency, security and component reuse
• Educate customers and prospects regarding the solution architecture and capabilities
• Champion new solutions and approaches and guide successful technical adoption through mentoring, instruction, and by actively participating in software development projects
• Build and maintain architecture models, including visual artifacts such as sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, class diagrams, process / data flow diagrams, use cases and other documentation as needed
• Must have prior experience leading/mentoring a team of solution architects
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas to internal and customer management
• Lead various automation tracks within Professional Services; look for opportunities to scale & build efficiencies by elimination repeatable, manual tasks
• Help foster a mindset towards automations for the team/associates
  

Experience you'll need to have:

• 8+ years of experience in Professional Services or Implementation Services, preferably in eCommerce, FinTech, or banking industries
• 8+ years of experience as a direct people manager, including demonstrated experience in hiring and performance management
• 8+ years of experience leading technical solution consultants, including client facing experience
• 6+ years of experience reviewing existing team practices and providing fact-based objective feedback and suggestions for how to improve processes
• Strong track record of managing and communicating an effective business portfolio
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring teams for efficient project delivery
• Proficiency in project and program governance practices
• Current Fiserv systems experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, and/or equivalent military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• In-depth understanding of Fiserv products, operational processes, and technical foundations
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project and professional services automation tools

Salary Range

$110,700.00 - $189,700.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
