Technical Business Analysis - Advisor IIAbout your role:
Fiserv seeks a Technical Business Analyst, Advisor II for its Back Office and Settlement development group within Merchant Solutions. This experienced IT professional excels in problem-solving and communication, with a background in software requirements engineering and large-scale project execution. The role involves collaborating across client, business, and development teams to define and document software requirements using repeatable, supportable processes.
What you'll do:
Analyze business needs and gaps, especially in Payment Acquiring and Settlement services.
Define future-state business architecture using process flows.
Identify and gather business and technical requirements across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Facilitate elicitation sessions to define needs, gaps, and impacts.
Interpret functional and non-functional requirements from various formats.
Create and manage business requirement documents for each SDLC stage.
Update requirements due to scope changes.
Support integration testing to ensure alignment with business needs.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and respond to stakeholder inquiries.
Demonstrate strong organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience you'll need to have:
6+ years of IT experience; preferrable as a Technical Business Analyst
3+ years of experience with JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, Clarity, and MS Office.
1+ years of experience with Fiserv Back Office and Settlement development group experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
Expertise in merchant acquiring and settlement systems.
Experience with transaction processing and compliance projects involving major credit/debit networks (e.g., Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Star, Accel).
Important information about this role:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
