This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional or a motivated recent graduate with a technical degree to apply their coding knowledge to real-world fintech challenges. By providing advanced troubleshooting and consultative analysis, you bridge the gap between complex technical specifications and seamless client implementations across our robust ecosystem of APIs, SDKs, and plug-ins.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage client implementations and conversions for Enterprise and Midmarket projects and technical custom implementations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute API implementation/conversion project plans, ensuring on-time and effective delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline integration procedures, enhance revenue, and improve product efficiency.
  • Interface with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Interpret and communicate Fiserv services and products to clients, sales, and vendors.
  • Gather client requirements for software development to support implementation/conversion.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for API Implementations, partnering with internal teams on client entablements and conversions.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • Education: High School Diploma or a relevant field; or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Technical Background: Experience working directly with developers on integration projects, in a technical helpdesk environment, or through relevant academic coursework and internships.
  • Functional Coding Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP, or Python) and HTML—this can be demonstrated through professional work, personal portfolios (GitHub), or degree-based projects.
  • Web Services: Intermediate understanding of Web services (SOAP and RESTful) gained through work or academic study.
  • API Knowledge: Experience developing or supporting sites using API and SDK integrations.
  • Analytical Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel and other productivity/analysis software.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
  • Direct experience with mobile development and integration on platforms such as iOS and Android.
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge.
  • Knowledge of process documentation and development of training plans.
  • Experience in project management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Fintech Knowledge: Understanding of the payments industry and merchant processing workflows.

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Sponsorship:

Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
