Title: Sales Operations Analyst
Hours: Full-time
Location: This is a hybrid remote/in-office role based out of our Midvale, UT office. #LI-Hybrid
Reports to: Director, Global Logistics
Compensation: A base salary range of $55,000-$72,000 gross per year, depending on candidate experience.

This Role:
BioLite / Goal Zero is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to oversee domestic and international sales order management and daily customer communication. You will report to the Director, Global Logistics and collaborate with our sales, marketing, S&OP, and supply chain departments. You will be critical to fulfilling BioLite's mission of bringing energy everywhere by delivering clean cooking, charging, and lighting products to our customers on time, every time. You will also support in building essential infrastructure to future-proof BioLite's sales and fulfillment operations.
You Will:
Manage customer orders and invoices
- Monitor sales orders from all wholesale customers including portal, email, and EDI orders.
- Enter and maintain preseason orders including checking for duplicates / mistakes and making adjustments as customers want to make changes.
- Maintain account master data in NetSuite (i.e. account contacts, ) to minimize cancelations and order corrections.
- Ensure all relevant routing instructions and vendor guides are obtained from the customer and maintained.
- Participate in regular conversations with Sales to monitor future orders and inventory needs.
- Work with channel managers and company credit departments to monitor holds on orders and reviews against accounts.
- Keep an eye on orders with back-ordered inventory to ensure transfers are completed and customers are informed on back-order status (working with Logistics and CS teams).
Manage daily wholesale, retail, and Home Energy customer communication
- Manage the daily customer communications through Zendesk and phone calls.
- Redirect customers questions to other teams.
- Handle customer requests regarding order statuses, tracking updates, inventory requests, refunds.
- Monitor product availability, flagging and completing transfers between inventory buckets. Work with accounts to substitute oversold and discontinued items.
Support on product training and troubleshooting.
- Be an external resource for product troubleshooting and training when new wholesale customers have questions about the product they have purchased.
- Be a resource for managing returns and repairs.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in a professional work environment; preferably in a supply chain, logistics, or customer support role or working in consumer products, e-commerce, manufacturing supply chain, management consulting, or a related industry;
- BA/BS from an accredited institution; a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field;
- Experience partnering with warehouse and manufacturing partners;
- Experience in a role requiring frequent cross-departmental collaboration;
- Experience with EDI and NetSuite;
- Comfort using excel to present data using simple formulas and pivot tables;
- Desire to work in a fast-growing, venture-funded startup making a positive social impact;
- Experience delivering outstanding customer service to your internal clients and external customers;
- Comfort balancing competing demands
