The Senior Staff Accountant will take ownership of a broad range of accounting functions and support the financial health and scalability of our SaaS business.

Responsibilities

• Own key processes in the monthly and annual close, including journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Support accounts receivable process by managing collections, and invoicing customers for contract overages and renewals.
• Perform multi-currency and multi-company consolidations.
• Assist in processing payroll and related employee benefits.
• Work collaborative across organizations including with Sales, Customer Success, & Professional Services teams to set up and oversee customer accounts.
• Assist with annual audit planning and related preparation.
• Grow into overseeing the contract to revenue cycle.
• Assist with ad hoc financial project work and other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, showing increasing levels of responsibility.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal). Strong professional English skills (written and verbal) required. CEFR B2/C1 level or higher preferred.
• Aptitude to take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of SaaS Revenue Recognition and/ or ASC 606 (GAAP).
• Experience supporting the audit processes in an international or U.S. based company.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud-based accounting software.
• Experience working in a dynamic small- to medium-size high-growth company.
• Familiarity with multi-currency accounting.
• Experience with sensitive payroll data.
