Finance Manager | FP&A & Commercial Finance

Location: São Paulo (Capital), Brazil

About the role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the financial management of the Brazil operation, acting both strategically and operationally. This role plays a key part in financial planning, budget management, performance analysis, and supporting business decision-making.

We are looking for a hands-on professional, comfortable working in dynamic environments and lean teams, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. This role will be critical in ensuring financial efficiency while supporting business growth.

The position will also work cross-functionally with areas such as Legal, Market Intelligence and Pricing, contributing to process structuring and risk management.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning cycle, including annual budgeting, periodic forecasts and strategic planning
  • Manage cash flow, financial projections and performance analysis
  • Act within FP&A, delivering financial insights and analyses to support leadership decision-making
  • Drive Commercial Finance activities, including:
  • sales controlling
  • revenue and profitability analysis
  • support for pricing strategies
  • monitoring and validation of sales commissions
  • Monitor and analyse financial and business performance indicators
  • Identify opportunities for financial efficiency and process improvement
  • Oversee accounting, tax and compliance activities, in partnership with external providers and consultants
  • Support the management of operational, legal and tax risks
  • Develop and improve financial processes and internal controls
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Finance / FP&A / Controlling roles
  • Experience in service-based companies (preferred)
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning and performance analysis
  • Fluent English (essential) — frequent interaction with international leadership, including presenting and defending budgets and strategic plans

Education

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualification or specialisation in Finance is a plus
