About the role
This role is responsible for delivering the organisation’s revenue targets through strong commercial leadership, clear strategy, and disciplined execution. The Sales Manager will own overall sales performance, ensuring the development of a robust pipeline, accurate forecasting, and consistent delivery of results.
Leading the commercial function, this professional will define the sales strategy, structure the sales model, and foster a culture of accountability and high performance within the team. The role also includes team management, process optimisation, and strengthening a results-driven environment.
The position aims to increase share of wallet, strengthen partnerships, and generate long-term commercial value.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with the organisation’s largest and most strategic clients (key accounts)
- Develop long-term (multi-year) account plans and revenue growth strategies
- Drive upsell, cross-sell, and expansion initiatives across the strategic client portfolio
- Lead complex, high-value negotiations, including contracts and partnerships
- Ensure high levels of client retention and satisfaction, particularly at C-level
- Identify new partnership models and customised commercial opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, FinOps and Content teams to ensure high-quality delivery to key clients
Requirements & qualifications
- Strong experience in senior B2B sales roles, with a focus on enterprise/key account management
- Proven track record in managing and expanding complex, high-value client portfolios through consultative selling
- Solid experience in long-term contract renewals and increasing share of wallet
- Consistent achievement and overperformance of revenue targets in consultative or strategic sales environments
- Experience building relationships with senior executives (C-level) in global organisations
- Strong expertise in consultative sales and strategic partnership development
- Strong market awareness and ability to identify new commercial opportunities in key sectors
- Experience selling exhibition space, sponsorships, or integrated marketing solutions
- Fluent English (mandatory)

- Experience leading teams focused on consultative solutions
- Strong relationship management skills, with active listening capabilities
- Knowledge or experience in the Education sector
- Experience using CRM systems (Dynamics, Salesforce)
