As Manifest launches into Europe in 2027, it is all set to be a fantastic launch with lots of exciting plans and so we are looking for a smart, ambitious, highly commercial Sales Director to help launch one of Europe’s fastest-growing events
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in launching Manifest Europe, one of the most ambitious new events launches in Europe.
This is a senior, hands-on commercial role focused on building high-value partnerships that drive revenue in Year 1 and create the foundation for long-term growth in Years 2, 3 and beyond.
You will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic accounts, closing complex sponsorship deals and driving revenue growth for Manifest Europe.
This is an Individual Contributor role. It is not a strategy role and it is not a people management role. We are looking for someone who loves selling, enjoys building relationships, thrives on winning new business and is motivated by exceeding ambitious targets.
You will be expected to personally build your pipeline, lead commercial conversations, close deals and deliver against a significant revenue target.
You will work closely with the President of Manifest Europe and cross-functional teams, but success in this role will be defined by your ability to generate revenue, close deals and build long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against a significant personal revenue target
- Build and grow relationships with enterprise and strategic clients
- Develop and execute account plans to increase share of wallet
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across key sectors
- Lead commercial conversations from prospecting through to close
- Negotiate and close high-value partnerships €30K+ €250K+ range
- Identify expansion opportunities, drive multi-year partnerships and maximise lifetime account value
- Be commercially strategic and look at ways to build on deals for expansion revenue in year 1 and beyond. Drive multi-year partnerships and renewals
- Create bespoke, solution-led sponsorship propositions
- Attend industry and competitor events to build relationships and generate opportunities
- Collaborate effectively across all the event team, with marketing, content and operations, to deliver client value
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Proven experience in senior B2B sales or sponsorship sales roles
- Strong track record of selling to C-suite stakeholders and closing high-value, complex deals of €100k+
- Experience managing and growing strategic or enterprise accounts
- Demonstrated success in new business acquisition
- Ability to self-source leads and convert them into revenue
- Experience building relationships with C-suite stakeholders
- Background in events, media or integrated marketing solutions is preferred.
