Position Summary
The Director of Sales will lead a team of Sales Managers responsible for driving revenue growth within an established customer base while also expanding the business through new customer acquisition.This leader will own the overall performance of their organization, including revenue production, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline development.
In addition to delivering near-term results, the Director will play a key role in developing sales talent. This position will coach and prepare high-performing sellers to advance into enterprise-level roles that lead complex, strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Leadership
• Own total revenue performance of the team, including growth within existing customers and acquisition of net new business
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Sales Managers responsible for quota-carrying sellers
• Drive accountability for pipeline generation, deal progression, and closing execution
Forecasting & Sales Operations
• Maintain accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts
• Implement disciplined pipeline management and deal inspection
• Identify risks and opportunities within the forecast and proactively drive mitigation strategies
Customer Expansion & New Business
• Lead strategies to grow revenue within the existing customer base through expansion, cross-sell, and upsell
• Ensure consistent new customer acquisition through proactive prospecting and territory planning
• Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to maximize account growth
Talent Development & Enterprise Readiness
• Develop high-performing sellers into enterprise-ready talent capable of managing complex deals
• Provide coaching on strategic account planning, multi-threading, executive engagement, and value-based selling
• Partner with the enterprise sales team to create developmental opportunities and mentorship pathways
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software sales experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
• Demonstrated success leading quota-carrying sales teams
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning skills
• Ability to travel approximately 50%
