Position Summary
Wyebot is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Marketing to join its rapidly growing team. This role is pivotal for the company’s ambitious plans to scale quickly and efficiently. As the marketing leader, this individual will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive Go-To-Market strategy with the primary goal of driving significant revenue growth. This mission will be to build brand awareness and establish a strong market presence, ensuring that enterprises across various industries recognize the availability and value of Wyebot’s innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute demand generation initiatives that position Wyebot as a market leader.
- Develop a compelling website and produce high-impact collateral such as customer testimonials, case studies, and standardized templates.
- Leverage social media and targeted campaigns to increase engagement and shorten the sales cycle, turning prospects into loyal customers.
- Capitalize on existing partnerships with industry giants like Cisco, Intel and Zebra to accelerate growth. Nurture these relationships, working closely with senior executives to create seamless and mutually beneficial collaborations that drive sales through partner channels.
- Identify key conferences and industry events to maximize Wyebot’s visibility, making strategic use of the company’s resources to generate interest and engagement.
- Gather and analyze data to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions and product development.
- Oversee all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting, including the delivery of an annual marketing plan.
- Although initially this will be an individual contributor, as the company scales, this individual will hire and develop a team of highly capable and productive marketing professionals to help fuel the company’s growth.
- Be a catalyst for growth, inspiring the team and driving the company forward as a key component of Wyebot’s growth engine.
Requirements
- A best-in-class B2B global marketeer with a comprehensive knowledge of marketing techniques that can lead to significant and rapid growth.
- A marketing leader with a SaaS-based technology company who has successfully scaled a new product or category of significant size.
- Knowledge of network engineering and infrastructure technology, including industry lingo.
- Experience working through partners to drive end-user sales.
- Proven ability to create a GTM strategy, linking the plan to operational and sales growth initiatives.
- Comfortable dealing with senior-level executives at F500 companies of partnering organizations and compelling them to adopt Wyebot’s products as part of a solution they sell to clients.
- Experience providing strategic marketing input and leadership to business decisions.
- Be digitally fluent and understand not only how to reach an audience but how to measure effectiveness.
- Excellent influencing skills with the capability to work cross-functionally across the organization.
- The proven ability to build consensus and resolve conflict, as well as prioritize among multiple opportunities.
- Excellent innovative thinking with the capability to generate new ideas and implement them within organizational limitations, as well as to take advantage of emerging opportunities as they arise.
- Demonstrated passion for Wyebot’s technology and impact.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/business or a related discipline. An MBA is a plus. With 5 + years of experience.
Compensation
A competitive compensation package will be offered to include base salary $150K – $175K range, bonus, and equity incentives. This position is located in Marlborough, MA or Remote.
