CarePort, powered by WellSky® is seeking a Product Manager to lead the product development process for one of our growing enterprise products. This role will define and execute on short-term goals and long-term milestones driving innovation in the discharge planning space. You are skilled at understanding market needs and translating those into product requirements. You have an understanding of cross-continuum care issues and are driven by improving patient outcomes. You are a passionate self-starter who is able to lead teams without direct authority. Responsibilities

• Extend the CarePort Guide solution to improve patient outcomes by guiding patients to the highest quality post-acute providers
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders with different areas of expertise (product managers, developers, account managers) to understand customer needs
• Interface with customers to gain insight, and to identify and validate new ideas
• Curate and maintain a roadmap for your solution based on industry research and internal stakeholder feedback
• Maintain the solution backlog, including constant evaluation and definition, and prioritization of the immediate work required to keep customers engaged
• Lead the engineering team to execute on the backlog/solution roadmap
• Research and understand competitive landscape and identify new opportunities
• Lead solution education efforts to ensure all stakeholders, internal and external, are well informed about changes to the solution
• Support advisory boards and user groups as needed

Requirements

• 2-3 years’ experience working in Healthcare Product Management or related area
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Strong facilitation and consensus-building skills – ability to influence beyond authority
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Detail oriented, with strong analytical and quantitative skills, while also maintaining the ability to have big-picture conversations
• Ability to remain cool, calm, and collected when faced with the challenges of building innovative solutions to complex problems
• Excellent analytical skills
• Sense of humor
